PRONTO IS BOXING CLEVER WITH EVERY PIZZA

Pronto – Edinburgh’s best pizzeria and best street food pizza caterer – is delighted to
unveil its first branded pizza boxes.

The uniquely designed boxes – themed on Da Vinci’s famous Vitruvian Man – are now
being sent out with every one of our authentic pizzas from our Brighton Place
premises in Portobello.

Owner Michael Notarangelo said the design has been inspired by a desire to mimic
Da Vinci’s focus on his figure as ‘perfection’ of the human shape – to mirror Pronto’s
drive for perfection with its pizzas.

Michael said: “From day one we have sought to make a pizza from Pronto the most
authentic pizza you’ll find in Scotland. That includes everything from months of
research to perfect our dough, to ensuring all our ingredients and toppings are
sourced and imported direct from artisan producers across Italy.

“During our brainstorming of box ideas, a member of the team proposed the idea of
using the Vitruvian man as it is a really eye-catching, familiar image. When we looked
into the meaning of the Vitruvian man, it became apparent it aligned perfectly with
our vision of the perfect pizza.

“We’ve never had our own boxes before, so their arrival feels pretty special – and
another step forward for Pronto since we opened in 2024.”

“And the feedback already has been very pleasing. Loads of people comment on the
striking design – and we always have a big smile when we see every box leave the
shop.”
