Belmonte Catering Serves Up A New-Look Christmas Treat

Belmonte Catering – the top Edinburgh street food and outside catering specialist –
was delighted to take a lead role in the new look Corn Exchange Christmas Party
Nights.

The Edinburgh venue appointed Belmonte Catering to set up a new street food-
based dining option for its two key festive party dates on the last weekend before
Christmas.

The aim was to give party-goers a more relaxed dining experience, compared to a sit-
down meal, but with high quality food on a festive theme – and served quick.

Michael Notarangelo, owner of Belmonte Catering, the Scottish street food
company, worked closely with Corn Exchange organisers to then plan an innovative
menu involving a ‘Christmas dinner in a Yorkshire Pudding’ and a Christmas tree-
shaped waffle with unlimited toppings.

Michael said: “Our speciality is to listen to what a client wants, and then ensure we
over-deliver – both in terms of our energy and commitment to make the event a
success but also on cost and quality.

“As this was the first time the Corn Exchange had planned a street food-based dining
option, we knew it was important to not only devise an excellent menu but to put in
place the planning to serve this to hundreds of party guests.

“We have vast experience now of working with clients such as Ferrari, SkyScanner
and Musselburgh Racecourse on high volume and bespoke large and private events.”

Belmonte Catering – named after the Italian village where Michael’s family originate
